On December 2nd, from 10:00 to 12:20 (CET), the REENFORCE project will host an online networking event bringing together leading Horizon Europe initiatives to exchange knowledge, explore synergies, and strengthen collaboration in the fields of agricultural innovation and sustainability.

Funded by the European Union and coordinated by the Agricultural University of Athens, REENFORCE continues to actively promote cross-project dialogue and strategic cooperation across Europe’s research and innovation landscape. This dedicated session will serve as a meeting point for EU-funded projects working on sustainable crop protection, bio-based solutions, food systems innovation, and the broader green and digital transition of agriculture.

The event will feature presentations and discussions involving several prominent projects, including NextGenBioPest, TRUSTFOOD, EXCEL4MED, BASIS, and SUSTAINSAFE, among others. By highlighting complementary expertise and shared objectives, the session aims to identify concrete pathways for collaboration, joint dissemination activities, knowledge exchange, and potential future research initiatives.

Through this initiative, REENFORCE reinforces its commitment to building a strong, interconnected research community capable of delivering impactful solutions for sustainable agriculture. The networking event reflects the project’s broader vision of fostering excellence, supporting Widening participation, and enhancing Europe’s capacity to address pressing environmental and food security challenges.

Stakeholders from academia, industry, policymaking, and the wider agri-food ecosystem are invited to participate in this collaborative exchange and contribute to shaping the next generation of sustainable agricultural innovation.
