REENFORCE at EU-CONEXUS 2026!

On 11 June 2026, Smart Agro Hub represented the REENFORCE project at the EU-CONEXUS 2026 event, held in Athens, Greece.

EU-CONEXUS — the European University for Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability — is a leading European university alliance bringing together higher education institutions, researchers and innovation stakeholders from across Europe. Its annual gathering serves as a high-level forum for academic collaboration, knowledge exchange and the advancement of research and innovation across a wide range of disciplines.

Bringing REENFORCE to a European Academic Audience

Smart Agro Hub seized the opportunity offered by EU-CONEXUS 2026 to present the REENFORCE project to an international audience of academics, researchers and higher education professionals. The presentation highlighted the project's mission to strengthen human capital and research excellence in bio-based, low-risk and smart crop protection, with particular emphasis on its training activities, secondment programme and the collaborative network it is building across widening and non-widening EU countries.

The event reinforced the relevance of REENFORCE's work within the broader European higher education and research landscape, demonstrating how Horizon Europe projects can contribute not only to scientific advancement but also to the development of lasting cross-border academic partnerships.
