Smart Agro Hub proudly represented the REENFORCE project at the 31st International Fair for Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Supplies – AGROTICA 2026, held from 12 to 15 March 2026 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center.
Agrotica is the largest sectoral exhibition in the agro-economic sector in Greece and one of the most significant agricultural events in Southeastern Europe. This year's edition brought together over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 40 countries, attracting thousands of professionals, researchers, farmers, and policymakers from across the region and beyond. The fair placed particular emphasis on smart farming technologies, digital agriculture, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence and robotics into modern agricultural practices — themes that are deeply aligned with the goals of the REENFORCE project.
During the four-day exhibition, Smart Agro Hub representatives actively engaged with visitors and stakeholders at the REENFORCE stand, presenting the project's objectives, ongoing activities, and anticipated impacts. Discussions centred on REENFORCE's commitment to advancing sustainable crop protection research, fostering cross-sectoral collaboration, and supporting the transition to greener and more resilient agricultural systems across Europe.
The event provided an exceptional opportunity to connect with a wide range of agricultural professionals, innovation ecosystem actors, and European research stakeholders. REENFORCE's presence at Agrotica 2026 generated significant interest among attendees, reinforcing the project's relevance to the pressing challenges facing the agricultural sector today, from climate adaptation and biodiversity protection to the adoption of data-driven farming solutions.
The participation of Smart Agro Hub in one of the region's most prominent agricultural forums reflects REENFORCE's ongoing commitment to disseminating knowledge, building strategic partnerships, and embedding the project's research within the broader European and international agricultural innovation landscape.
We thank all visitors who stopped by to learn more about REENFORCE, and we look forward to continuing these conversations at future events!
